The Wherry is designed to be used with a sliding seat unit but it can also be rigged for fixed use, solo or double (ligth crews only in the latter case: 160 kg maximum.) The strong initial stability of this hull is a guarantee of safety to inexperienced rowers, and allows open sea sculling by fair wheater.
The Annapolis Wherry measures 5,41 m par 0,97 m. The hull weight is 29 kg: no need for a boat trailer, it goes on a small car roof rack!

Building this kit is easy, thanks to the patended LapStitch system. All you'll need is a bit (a lot!) of patience and neatness to build this lovely "stitch and glue" hull.
